4 photographers from Louisiana have spent time in Paris. They didn’t meet each other and returned home with their Parisien phantasm, captured in their lens. Lisette, Paulo and Leslie reveal their Paris mythology through several elegant stagings. Is it hallucinations? Or collective mentality? Maybe both? As a lifelong Parisian, but New Orleans’s home owner for 7 years, Nicolas BOULIER has often been confronted by crossed myths. For the French, New Orleans is a mythical town, while Paris is the same for the Louisianans. For the opening of his Gallery for fine Art photography, the opportunity was too good to start with the Louisiana lens. We can look forward to him introducing us to New Orleans seen by Parisian artists!
